Gage Cass (Ronnie, Barry)
Urban Cowboy. Social Spelunker. Grasshopper. These are just a few of the terms used to describe Gage Cass. But who is he really? Actor? Model? Dancer? Amateur acrobat? Indeed, but these are simply the elements that make him a performer. It’s his forays into script writing, jewelry design, event production, and teen counseling that make him a jack-of-all-trades. It is from this plethora of perspectives that Gage comes to be with you on this stage tonight. This appearance, however, does not come without trepidation. Gage Cass is nervous about performing in this show, because with the exception of all of the women he has ever known, he knows nothing about angry young women, especially those with issues. In his experience all relationships between the sexes have been stress-free occurrences with clear communication; devoid of ugly emotions such as jealousy, resentment and heartbreak…in fact you might have been lucky enough to have seen this sentiment gloriously exemplified in the hilarious comedy of sexes, DNA DATING at the Manhattan Rep. Theater. No? Hmmm. Very interesting…
When Gage is not analyzing the intentions of flippant comments and unintentional body language, you can find him mixing up delicious intoxicating elixirs on the Fine Living Networks’ new show BARTENDER WARS. Or perhaps you caught a glimpse of him performing alongside musical greats Sting, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce’, and many others at President Obama’s Neighborhood Inaugural Ball with the mesmerizing acro/dance troop Anti-Gravity, with whom he also had the privilege to repel off the roof of Rockefeller Center for the premier of Spiderman 3. He just wrapped a few independent projects that are in post production so if you must see him on your screen look to the Coke Zero Commercial where he plays a thug stomping, woman wooing James Bond. Cass. Gage Cass took time away from the humble endeavor of writing the book How the Pretty People Can Derail the Vanity Machine to be here with you all. So you had better appreciate it. |
